<suppInfo>DATA DEVELOPMENT: The Developmentally-Constrained Lands data layer was developed by SE Group in four steps. The first step involved extracting areas of elevation greater than 10,500 feet from the raster elevation data layer provided by Clear Creek County GIS; creating an interim raster (1-acre cell size) data layer. A VALUE attribute was added to this vector data layer and was populated with a value of “1”. The second step involved isolating all areas within the County with a percent slope greater than 30 percent the percent slope data layer provided by Clear Creek County GIS. A raster (1-acre cell size) data layer was created from this extraction with a VALUE attribute assigned with value of “1”. The third step involved creating a buffer of 0.5 miles from the Clear Creek County Roads Data. Road segments within this vector dataset were selected based on the road maintenance (“RD_MAINT”) Attribute (RD_MAINT = “County”). The resulting vector polygon data layer was then rasterized to a 1-acre cell size raster layer with a VALUE attribute of “1”) assigned to cells. The three raster layers created above were added together using RASTER CALCULATOR (ArcGIS 10.4) the resultant VALUE field expressing the sum of the three individual constraints rasters. When multiple rasters overlaid, the sum would reflect the number of constraints. This raster data layer was then vectorized for cartographic purposes into the final polygon data layer and the VALUE attribute renamed “CONSTRAINE” for “Constraints Environmental”. </suppInfo>
